At God’s Country RV Resort, camping gets a luxury upgrade in the form of accommodations like rustic-chic glamping tents, Conestoga wagons, and old-school stone and log cabins. Located near Soda Lake Wildlife Management Area, the resort offers a respite in nature only minutes from downtown Shreveport. The Eagle’s Nest Lodge accommodates eight guests, while the Grand Lodge, the former home of the original owners, holds up to twelve people and boasts a private swimming pool with a waterfall and slide. Vacationers staying at Grand Lodge are also treated to an outdoor kitchen, a hot tub, and private playground.
