Celebrated Chefs Serving Sumptuous Dinners in Unforgettable Locations

About Country Roads Supper Club

OUR MOTTO: EAT WELL. RAISE A GLASS. MAKE NEW FRIENDS.

Our slogan sums it up... we created Supper Club to make the most of River Road culture by bringing great food, fine wine, and close friends together in the most spectacular settings we've discovered in 35 years of publishing.

WHO'S COOKING?

We work with nationally recognized chefs from Louisiana, Mississippi, and beyond, inviting them to step out of their restaurants and create unique menus themed to suit the location.

WHY FAMILY STYLE?

At most dinners, we strive to foster a spirit of sharing. This goes back to our motto: "make new friends." Supper Club has struck a balance by bringing folks together around shared interests & experiences, to unite over good food. Family-style service encourages interaction by serving your neighbor.

WHAT'S WITH THE BELL?

At our first Supper Club we rang a dinner bell to get guests' attention.  Now it's a tradition! Plus, it's hard to pry that bell from the hands of CR head honcho James Fox-Smith. So when you hear the bell ringing, get ready to dine!

WHO'S THAT SINGING?

Spending decades covering the arts has its advantages. For each Supper Club we work with a rotating cast of musicians, storytellers, and artists, chosen to complement the theme of the event. Theatre troups, steamboat jazzmen, Grammy award-winning fiddlers, and local bluesmen—they're all here.

WHAT'S SUPPER CLUB STYLISH?

It's the age-old dilemma ... what to wear for South Louisiana's schizophrenic weather. Leave the high heels and suits at home. Supper Club events are a cultural safari  taking guests all over the region. But whatever the destination, each Supper Club event is carefully crafted to be beautiful. So dress comfortably and in style. Don't worry, we'll email you a heads-up about the weather before each dinner.
