Oh, Stick It on Your Foot!

Local design store Studio C, in cooperation with Visit Baton Rouge and sock makers Bonfolk, has released an exclusive signature sock just for Baton Rouge, in celebration of its bicentennial. The socks feature a bold print of—what else?—red sticks. This jaunty footwear is just the ticket to show our BTR pride to shoe salesmen, podiatrists, and timid people who may be looking at the floor just how much you love the Capital City. Bonfolk, which also sells other Louisiana-inspired socks featuring snowballs, gators, oysters, and so forth, donates one pair of socks to the homeless for each pair purchased. (The donated socks are less festive, alas, but designed especially for the resilience this population needs.)
