a chef or culinary professional working in the rural regions and towns where Louisiana cuisine has its sturdy roots.

across sixty-four parishes, from the coast to the northern border, to find our candidates through impressions made on their fans and fellow citizens.

 to meet our four winning chefs, as they converge on the Tin Roof Brewery in Baton Rouge on Sunday, June 26, to serve up a multi-course dinner with paired beers.


 in our July cuisine issue, with feature articles on Chef Holly Moore Schreiber of Sainte Terre, Chef Carl Schaubhut and Chef Jean-Pierre Guidry of Bacobar, and Chef Toby Rodriguez of Lâche Pas Boucherie

We present these awards in conjunction with the Louisiana Culinary Institute and proceeds will benefit the LCI Foundation, which provides scholarships to deserving LCI students and provides food to charitable organizations that feed the homeless or needy.
