Beat a Retreat to Barcelona

Think fast! Fares to one of my favorite places in the world, Barcelona, have dropped to as low as an amazing $405 round-trip from New Orleans, if you can go in early December. If you can't, don't fret, I found a fare in March for just a few bucks more. Spain's winter weather is so mild that thousands of Europeans flock there this time of year. And if you want to spice up you trip even more (literally and figuratively) you can fly round-trip from Barcelona to Marrakesh, Morocco for less that a hundred bucks. I used two tools to track down these deals: The Explore feature at Kayak.com (look under "more" in the navigation bar on the home page) and the website skyscanner.com.
