The Emmy® Award-winning premier episode of “GO Coast: Louisiana” on WLAE-TV featured St. Tammany Parish, and vignettes from the episode were re-crafted into a series of short travel videos on LouisianaNorthshore.com. This series, called "Go Visit: Louisiana’s Northshore," showcases local personalities exploring the parish with entertaining host Tom Gregory. Gregory talks about St. Tammany with the zeal of a convert: "There's so much there, and it's right off the Interstate."

GO FISH finds Gregory in a boat with local legend and charter captain “Deadly” Dudley Vandenborre and celebrity chef John Besh, catching fish and watching the day’s catch prepared in the kitchen of Besh’s Lacombe landmark restaurant, La Provence.

GO WILD features acclaimed musician Amanda Shaw fiddling on the Mandeville lakefront and accompanying Gregory to feed a family of giraffes at Global Wildlife Center. Native American historian Grayhawk Perkins leads a canoe trip on Cane Bayou in GO HISTORIC and brings Gregory to Ruby’s Roadhouse for his band’s gig with the late Coco Robicheaux. And there’s more – paddleboarding, tubing, flyboarding, tours of Honey Island Swamp …

After completing two and a half hours of programming about St. Tammany Parish’s attractions, Gregory said there’s still more he wishes he could have captured. There are plenty of options for kids, and there’s plenty to go and do without them—there’s really something for everyone on the Northshore. And don't miss the series of cuisine-related videos also featuring Gregory.

The videos that Gregory produced are all available at louisiananorthshore.com/media/videos. Watch, pick your favorite, and come make a memory of your own in St. Tammany.
