Baton Rouge Kidney Walk

Join the National Kidney Foundation of Louisiana at Highland Road Community Park Grand Pavilion. Over 500 walkers, including kidney patients, donors, and transplant recipients, will step up and help raise awareness and funds to support the fight against kidney disease in Louisiana. The Kidney Walk is a non-competitive 2/3 mile stroll that raises funds to fight kidney disease through prevention, advocacy, and education. Walkers can participate as individuals or form teams with family, friends or colleagues. The Walk will also feature a Wellness area, a children's fun zone, live entertainment, food and healthy snacks. Admission is free; however, walkers are encouraged to fundraise for the event. Registration begins 8:30 am, walk begins at 10 am. kidneywalk.org.
