All Summer Long, Summer Reading Program Kicks Off!: The Lafourche Parish Public Libraries are going interstellar for the 2019 Summer Reading Program, themed "A Universe of Stories." Sign up early to set your reading goal, and register for the several space-themed programs set for the summer.
All Month Long, Escape Room Challenges: Race against the clock and and "Escape to Outer Space" in parish libraries' escape room challenges. Visit lafourche.org for a full schedule of locations and times.
June 4, 11, 21, 28, Board game Socials: Bringing out the classics for an afternoon of puzzling and competition. 2 pm at the Bayou Blue Branch Library.
June 5, Dance Classes: Kick up your heels and have a ball at the Larose Branch Library. Double left footers welcome. 1 pm.
June 10, Rocket-building: Children 8 to 12 are invited to craft a rocket from recyclable materials at the Bayou Blue Branch Library. 1 pm.
June 19, Magic Shows: The magician James Wand needs your brilliant mind to help him solve clues and secret codes. Prepare to be amazed by his mysterious abilities at the Thibodeaux Branch at 10:30 am, the Lockport Branch at 1 pm, and the South Lafourche Branch at 4 pm.
