"A Downtown Event" on New Iberia's Main Street

With eased restrictions due to COVID-19, maybe now's the time to support local businesses with the New Iberia Main Street Program at A Downtown Event. The Main Street Program plans to close three blocks of Main Street, from Church Alley to Jefferson Street, and put tables and chairs in the street, so people can socially distance as they wish while enjoying music, eating their (take-out) food, and shopping. The Bunk Johnson Brazz Band will perform in the gazebo at Bouligny Plaza from 4 pm–6 pm, and many downtown businesses will be open, including restaurants, boutiques and retail stores, cake and sweets shops, bookstores, jewelry and gift stores, and interior decor shops.
