Abdullah Ibrahim: A Struggle for Love

Join Banners at McNeese State University for a documentary screening of Abdullah Ibrahim: A Struggle for Love. Filmmaker Ciro Cappellari chronicles the life and works of Ibrahim, the musician scheduled to receive the nation's highest honor for Jazz musicianship this year as a pianist, composer, and warrior against Apartheid. Ibrahim will also be performing, with his band Ekaya, at the F.G. Bulber Auditorium on April 6.  3 pm at the Stokes Auditorium, Hardtner Hall. Free.
