"Art of the City" Book Club

The Historic New Orleans Collection, in conjunction with the new featured exhibit "Art of the City: Postmodern to Post-Katrina," is facilitating a book club, which features monthly conversations between authors, artists, and audience members on topics relevant to the exhibit, led by host of public radio's "The Reading Life," Susan Larson. Here's the summer's schedule and topics:
June 26: "The Futilitarians: Our Year of Thinking, Drinking, Grieving, and Reading," with author Anne Gisleson and artist Michael Deas.
July 17: "Unfathomable City: A New Orleans Atlas," with author Rebecca Snedeker.
August 28: "Vengeance: A Novel" with author Zachary Lazar and photographer Deborah Luster.
