On Art Rocks! Friday, November 16 at 8:30 pm and Saturday, November 17 at 5:30 pm, the Art Factory in Lake Charles offers pottery classes for beginners and work spaces for more experienced artists. The owner, Tracy LeMieux tells us how the studio took shape, and how her passion for working with clay became her profession. We visit Raleigh, North Carolina, where political cartoonist Dwane Powell looks back on a lifetime of covering the news, and then visit Dayton, Ohio, where a formerly vacant house is now a vibrant contemporary arts center. Our Louisiana Treasure this week is the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Lake Charles. Experience the splendor of this century-old sacred space.
