Arts for Everybody in Baton Rouge
Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge 233 St. Ferdinand St., Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70802
This summer, Baton Rouge will be one of a number of cities around the country that will participate in Arts for Everybody, a national campaign from One Nation/One Project that aims to promote art as an essential component of personal well-being and strong communities. For the occasion, the Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge is collaborating with One NationOne Project, National League of Cities, and the City of Baton Rouge to present a series of art-making and health initiatives around the concept of "No Place Like Home." Artists across genres will be present to engage with the community around the theme, all culminating in a presentation and performance at the Cary Saurage Community Arts Center. Noon–6 pm. artsbr.org.
