(Postponed) 3rd Annual Baton Rouge Soul Food Festival
The third annual Baton Rouge Soul Food Festival offers two days of fabulous southern cuisine and non-stop live music. The family-friendly event provides people from Louisiana and the surrounding states opportunities to listen to incredible music, shop in the Vendors Village amongst an array of arts and crafts, eat lots of good food, and showcase their culinary skills in judged soul food competitions. Live music in blues, soul, funk and reggae genres will be performed by Henry Turner Jr. & Flavor, along with the Listening Room All-Stars like blues rapper Lee Tyme, gospel/jazz singer Wyanda Paul, singer/songwriter Larry “LZ” Dillon, comedian Eddie “Cool” Deemer, and ‘Nspire, a spoken word artist. Don't forget to bring chairs for lawn seating. VIP packages include food, drinks, giveaways and a covered seating area. Soul Food tickets are $25 and include two food and two soft drink tickets and photo ops.
