Benjamin Alard: Interpretations of J.S. Bach

Esteemed keyboardist and performer Benjamin Alard is most well known for his interpretations of J.S. Bach's works, particularly on organ and harpischord. He has received high regards from his solo performances across Europe, Japan, and North America. He is currently devoting himself to a recording project of the complete works for harpischord and organ solo of Johann Sebastian Bach for Harmonia Mundi.
On March 24, Alard will perform Bach's Toccata in D Minor, Fugue in G Major, "Wie schön leuchtet der Morgenstern"; Passacaglia in C minor BWV 582, as well as works by Dietrich Buxtehude. The program will be held at the Catehdral-Basilica of St. Louis, King of France in Jackson Square, and will be free to the public. 6 pm.
