Between the Folds

Meet the theoretical scientists and fine artists who turned their backs on their careers and the pursuit of higher education to dedicate themselves to the art of paper-folding. In the award winning documentary Between the Folds, this group will convince you that origami is an art, a science, and the answer to many of the world's more complex questions. 

The Alexandria Museum of Art is hosting a screening of Between the Folds, along with a short Balinese Shadow Puppet Show, the source of inspiration behind the museum's Winter Exhibition Hari & Deepti: Light by the Forest. 5:30 pm. Free and open to the public. themuseum.org
