Blooming by the River
Esther Carpenter, owner of The Elms mansion, hosts four floral artists from across the country to share in the intricate art of flower arrangements. Featured artists include:
Carol Caggiano, who has designed floral images for postage stamps, developed bouquets for Teleflora, designed events for a prestigious event florist in Washington DC, and has even had some of her designs in the White House.
Michael Quesada, who has helmed bouquet development for Teleflora as the Los Angeles Unit president and has designed for the owner of Kaleidoscope Santa Barbara.
John Grady Burns, who—one of Natchez's own—is the event host and the co-founder of Ya'll Means All Natchez, has designed for events in Atlanta, Georgia, is the owner of the Nest and a published author, as well.
Gerard Toh—also a Natchez resident, worked on the bouquet development design team for Teleflora, was the owner of three flower shops for twenty-five years, and has worked as a design and product development consultant, a floral design educational specialist, and a showroom designer and visual merchandiser.
All proceeds from the event will go towards Y'all Means All Natchez. 11 am–3 pm. $50 at bontempstix.com.
