Book Signing with Alison Pelegrin and J. Bruce Fuller
Teche Center for the Arts 210 East Bridge Street, Breaux Bridge, Louisiana 70517
Two Louisiana poets will settle into Breaux Bridge for an evening of readings and book signings at the Teche Center for the Arts. Southeastern Louisiana University professor Alison Pelegrin, who has received fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts and the Louisiana Division of the Arts, will join and present her work alongside Acquisitions Editor at Texas Review Press J. Bruce Fuller, who himself has received scholarships from Bread Loaf, the Sewanee Writers' Conference, and Stanford University, where he was a 2016-2018 Wallace Stegner Fellow. Pelegrin has published four poetry collections including, most recently, Waterlines (2016), as well as a recent chapbook, Our Lady of the Flood (2018), which was awarded the Diode chapbook prize, and her recent work has appeared in Tin House, Poetry East, and The Bennington Review. Fuller, for his part, has published three chapbooks—The Dissenter's Ground, Lancelot, and Flood—and has published poetry in The Souther Review, Crab Orchard Review, McNeese Review, Birmingham Poetry Review, Louisiana Literature, and more.
This event will begin at 6:30 pm, and is free and open to the public, though donations are welcome. techecenterforthearts.com.
