Walk in the footsteps of the Native American, Cajuns and Creole pioneers who called Louisiana home in the 18th and 19th centuries. Through hands-on demonstrations of bushcraft and homesteading skills, (fire building, tanning, primitive tool usage, woodworking, canning) participants in this fourth-Saturday-of-each-month program at Longfellow-Evangeline State Historic Site learn practical life skills while simultaneously learning the intricacies of our shared history.
