Now over thirty years old, this massive, eleven-day midway carnival attracts more than 175,000 people to the heart of Cajun country each spring. Bring the kids out for a whirl on the giant Ferris wheel and the Mega Drop; try your hand at a prize-winning ring toss. If the Ferris wheel is too tame, try out a Zipline & Warrior Challenge Park, where you can cruise down a zipline like Indiana Jones, for free! Get your sweet tooth ready for eleven days of funnel-cake-fueled fun. Located on the grounds and parking lot surrounding the Cajundome. Free admission; $10 for parking.
