Featuring photographs across commercial and artistic practices, this exhibition takes a bite out of the most ordinary of subjects through the dynamic themes of still life, around the table, and playing with food. This traveling exhibit makes its first stop in Baton Rouge before delighting the world, so be among the first to sample it!

• Opening June 13: Capitol City Contemporary 4: Food, Glorious Food in the Soupçon Gallery. Discover the food-inspired art of local artists in this year's much anticipated installment of our Capitol City Contemporary exhibition series.
• Opening June 16: The Evolution of Dining in Orbit in the Universe Gallery. Follow the evolution of eating in orbit. From the first meals of pureed food in aluminum tubes to the modern luxuries of barbecue and spaghetti, explore what astronauts have eaten in the name of space exploration.
• June 21: A special Art After Hours event with refreshments by local chefs, hands-on activities, and a talk by effervescent food personality Poppy Tooker. 5:30 pm. Members free, students $5.50, general admission $7.50.
