Carter House Christmas Open House

The Carter House, built between 1817 and 1820 and the only plantation home in Livingston Parish, is opening their doors in the spirit of the season for their annual Christmas Open House. Enjoy refreshments, a craft market, and a complimentary home tour included with admission between 1–5 pm December 6th, and another open house (sans craft fair) on December 13 from 2–4 pm. Santa will be present for greetings and photos from 2–4 pm each day. Tickets are $5; free for children under twelve, and all proceeds go toward maintaining the historic home and property.
