The Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge has awarded a grant to classical musician Jena Vangjel to facilitate a year of programming for Capital Area Alliance for the Homeless. Vangjel, fiercely passionate about using music to create community, got her start with such programs as a musician and administrator with Street Symphony, a world-renowned organization that brings interactive classical performances to severely disenfranchised communities affected by homelessness and incarceration in Los Angeles County. 10:30 am.
