Cool Season Flowers and Kokedama
EBR Master Gardeners library program introduces Kokedama, a Japanese approach to ornamental plant cultivation
Bluebonnet Regional Branch Library 9200 Bluebonnet Boulevard, Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70810
Figure out what to plant for fall as cooler weather (hopefully) settles in during the months to come. This latest installment in the East Baton Rouge Master Gardeners Library program will also introduce the principle of Kokedama—the Japanese cultivation practice in which an ornamental plant is grown on a moss-covered ball of soil. With Master Gardeners Kathy Morris and Sherry Eubanks at the helm, this installment begins at 6:30 pm at the Bluebonnet Branch Library, 9200 Bluebonnet Boulevard. Free.
