Water/Ways Cypress Industry Lecture

As part of the local Smithsonian Water/Ways exhibit, the Jeanerette Museum Board and Jeanerette Landmarks Society have partnered to present a program on the local cypress industry, led by Ashley Franklin, a special projects coordinator for the Office of State Museum at Wedell-Williams Aviation and Cypress Saw Mill Museum.
This program is a part of Museum on Main Street, a collaboration between the Smithsonian Institution and the Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities made possible through funding from the Walton Family Foundation. This program is also sponsored by the Friends of the Jeanerette Museum and will be held at the Harry B. Hewes Home. 6 pm. Free. jeanerettemuseum.com.
