Rip Van Winkle Gardens, in partnership with The Frosted Apron, opens up for little trick-or-treaters with the inaugural Fa-BOO-lous Halloween Bash. Inside the property's newly renovated Bayless Center, kids (will decorate their own Halloween themed cupcakes and make Halloween crafts.

Of course, it's Halloween, so costumes are de rigueur; prizes will be awarded for first, second, and third place. There will be games and door prizes as well. A special guest, Minnie Mouse, will elicit EEKS of delight—not horror—so don't forget your camera.

6:30 pm–8:30 pm. $28 for kids, which includes all activities, a slice of pizza, and a bottle of water. Free for adults and kids too young or old to participate.
