Fall Art Opening at the Hilliard Museum
Three new exhibits.
The Hilliard University Art Museum opens its fall 2017 season with new gallery installations. New work includes photographs of artists' workspaces by Tina Freeman, a short film by William Kentridge inspired by the early cinema classic Voyage to the Moon, and an exhibition of the work of musical instrument builders in south Louisiana from the 1930s to the present. A reception will celebrate there new exhibits, with hors d’oeuvres and drinks generously provided by Bon Temps Grill, Republic National Distributing Company, and Schilling Distributing Company. Free. A private members-only preview will take place from 4 pm–6 pm; the public is welcome 6 pm–8 pm. hilliardmuseum.org.
