Fall Scarecrows

Whether crows descend on your acreage often or not, a scarecrow is a cheery sight among autumn foliage. The Arts Council of Livingston Parish invites children to paint scarecrows on canvas this morning in a class led by Dena Olinde. Each child will complete his own design before bringing the feller to life with acrylic paint. 10 am–11:30 am. $10 includes supplies. Children ages 8–12. Register early; space is limited.
