Native American Yucca Coiled Basketry Workshop at Vermilionville

Vermillionville continues to host monthly workshops that allow attendees to learn arts and crafts from master artisans. This month, Vermilionville welcomes returning guest teacher Mark Suter of Primitive Texas, who will teach the Native American art of Yucca Coiled Basketry. This historic art form can be as simple or as ornate as you like, and is still commonly practiced today. 9 am-5 pm. $50 includes all supplies for the workshop. vermilionville.org.
