Fortier-Gerbrecht Jazz Invitational

The best of Baton Rouge's jazz students will come together for the 53rd Annual Fortier-Gerbrecht Jazz Invitational Concert this month, which is sponsored by the Baton Rouge Magnet High School Instrumental Music Department and Baton Rouge Jazz Ensemble. The line up includes the St. George Jazz Ensemble, under the direction of John Gerbrecht himself, BRMHS Jazz Ensemble, EBR Talented Combo, MicKinley High Combo, Catholic High Jazz Ensemble, St. Michael High Jazz Ensemble, Dunham High Jazz Ensemble, and the Central High Jazz Ensemble. 7 pm. $8. manshiptheatre.org.
