One for the "Only in Louisiana" department: Froggin' for a Cause is a frogging tournament held to raise funds to support Cajun Coast Search and Rescue, an all-volunteer group that trains people and their dogs to help locate missing persons around the region. So sharpen up that gigging fork and be at D&B Sports Bar, 21306 Hwy 182 W. in Jeanerette from 7 pm Friday to register, and you'll be helping raise funds to cover equipment, training, and certification costs.
