This weekend, stop by for a workshop titled "Beyond the Lawn: Cultivating Natural Communities" at the East Baton Rouge Main Library at Goodwood. This event, led by Ashlee Brackeen and Caitlin Robbins of Swamp Fly Native Landscapes, is a part of The Baton Rouge Botanic Garden Foundation's free "Garden Discoveries" series. Participants can expect to glean insights on how to replace traditional lawns with natural plant communities.
