Get Ready for Kindergarten

Is your youngster feeling a bit teary about his first big day of school? (Or is that just you?) Children can get a preview of summer's end today at the Fairwood Branch Library. Kids will hear a reading of Welcome to Kindergarten by Anne Rockwell and Is Your Buffalo Ready for Kindergarten? by Audrey Vernick. Later, they can spend time in each of the library's four centers to play with blocks, paint, put a puzzle together and work with shapes to make a picture.
