Glorious Sounds

The Baton Rouge Music Club will host “Glorious Sounds,” a musical recital by soprano Rachel Cobb, mezzo-soprano Leanne Clement, and pianist Constance Carroll, in aperformance at the Woman’s Club. Cobb’s operatic voice has become known in the United States and Europe as a soprano with “incredible dramatic intensity” in reviews from the London Times, Opera Magazine and Opera News. As a mezzo-soprano, Clement has appeared with Opera North, Opera in the Ozarks, Opéra Louisiane, LSU Opera and the Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra. Carroll has been the featured artist for at least twelve state conventions of the Music Teachers Association in addition to presenting recitals and master classes at numerous universities and colleges throughout the country. These acclaimed musicians are sure to present an evening of magnificent performances; look forward to interpretations of Puccini, Verdi, Menotti, Donizetti, and Bellini.
