Burden Museum & Gardens 4560 Essen Lane, Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70809
The LSU AgCenter Botanic Gardens at Burden continues its new environment-focused initiative, the Green Stick Workshops, on April 18. For this workshop, "Pruning 101," the East Baton Rouge Master Gardening Association will present an introduction to pruning roses and crepe myrtles, as well as selecting and caring for pruning tools. The program will end with a Q&A session. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own pruning shears, as well as gloves and long-sleeved shirts for the rose pruning activity. More details to come.
