Heroes of African-American History: Louisiana's First Black Elected Officials

In celebration of Black History Month, Southern University professor and Director of the Mwalimu Institute, Dr. Charles Vincent will present a discussion for all ages, celebrating the first black elected officials in Louisiana. After the program, Dr. Vincent will autograph copies of his book, Black Legislators in Louisiana During Reconstruction.
