Hunt Slonem: A Retrospective
to
The Cabildo 701 Chartres Street, New Orleans, Louisiana 70116
On the top floor of the Cabildo, the influence of New Orleans on iconic artist Hunt Slonem's work is explored through a vast collective of paintings and sculptures lent exclusively by Louisiana patrons and museums. His motifs—profuse vandas, cattelayas, irises, and amazons, and of course his whimsical bunnies—are displayed in antique frames in the context of one another and Slonem's earlier works, and how Louisiana brought them to life. louisianastatemuseum.org.
