Fans of Billy Joel, Fiona Apple, Queen, and Florence and the Machine will be thrilled to discover an up-and-coming band from right here in Baton Rouge. A performance by Karma and the Killjoys brings classical piano layered over gritty electric guitar, and this time they're debuting their latest album, Synthetic. Philosophical and frustrated, the new work speaks to the existential anxieties of the new generations when it comes to religion, politics, and society. Opening the show will be local favorites Jodi James and Clay Parker. 7:30 pm. $24–$44. manshiptheatre.org.
