Baton Rouge Early Risers Kiwanis will host their forty-second annual Red Beans & Rice with Smoked Sausage fundraiser on Saturday, May 20. All proceeds go to community projects the Baton Rouge Early Risers Kiwanis supports. Proceeds in past years have been used to support Boy Scouts of America, Shoes for Needy Children, YWCA of Greater Baton Rouge, Boys and Girls Club, Adopt a School, Baton Rouge Food Bank, and others. 11 am‒2 pm at Mayberry Dining Hall on Southern University's campus.
