The Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra will make its way across the Northshore this spring, bringing with it the songs and sounds of romance. Featuring Byron Tauchi on violin, L'Amour! includes passionate classics such as Mozart's Overture to The Marriage of Figaro, Massenet's "Meditation" from Thaïs, and selections from Georges Bizet's infamous Carmen. Thursday's performance will take place at the Jefferson Performing Arts Center, Friday's at Hammond's Columbia Theatre, and Saturday's at Slidell's Municipal Auditorium.
