La Fête Louisiane

Louisiana’s Old State Capitol is hosting a free celebration of French heritage, culture and languageto mark the 50^th anniversary of CODOFIL (Council for the Development of French in Louisiana) and the 300^th Anniversary of the founding of New Orleans by the French. Historical actors portraying Bienville and Évangéline will be on hand to interact and chat with guests, and La Famille Brown will provide music.  Look forward to food, talks, music, crafts, dance and petanque lessons, and other activities throughout the day, with a parade down the grand staircase at 4 pm. louisianaoldstatecapitol.org.
