The Laura Simon Nelson Galleries for Louisiana Art will display pieces from Nelson’s collection, which included more than 350 items when it was donated to The Historic New Orleans Collection in 1995; this selection features work by Wayman Adams, Jacques Amans, Knute Heldner, Morris Henry Hobbs, Clarence Millet, Achille Peretti, Paul Poincy, Ellsworth Woodward, and William Woodward, as well as a selection of Newcomb pottery.
