Located along the Mississippi Blues Trail, the Delta Music Museum is a goldmine for lovers of the Mississippi River's musical heritage. Such a storied setting is rife for live music, and the museum happily obliges on the second and fourth Saturday of each month—with the occasional special event.

Coming up:

  • Dec. 2 - Winter Gospel Benefit Explosion featuring Chaplin Mark Richardson, Angie Whitt Knapik, Newellton Mass Choir, Calvin Duncan, Jr., Frances Daniels, VIP, Shanay Thomas, K & K, Voices from Heaven and headliner Sensational Six.   Proceeds will help Donald Wilford with medical expenses while he battles lung cancer.
  • Dec. 9 - Robert Wimberly and the Lakesiders.  Doors 6 pm, show 7 pm.  $10.
  • Dec. 14 - Concordia Parish Talents & Gift program.  6 pm. Free.
