Love, Loss and What I Wore

Mid City Ballroom 136 South Acadian Thruway, Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70806
Few can claim to wryly write about romance and the witty women who suffer from it the way the late Nora Ephron did. So leave it to Baton Rouge's new women-centric theatre group, Red Magnolia Theatre Company, to bring her (and her sister Delia's) words to the stage.
“We wear our memories," said director Dr. Macy Jones. "The coat you wore the first time you saw snow, your wedding dress, the interview outfit you agonized over for your dream job—these garments have memories woven in the seams. This play, which is a series of monologues of women talking about their clothes, is about how memories are worn and our desire to put them on again.”
7 pm on Friday & Saturday; 2 pm & 7 pm on Sunday. $25. redmagnoliatc.org. Now what will you wear?
