Red Stick Spice and its neighboring businesses will open doors on Friday night to welcome the art and culture lovers of Mid City Baton Rouge.

Things are warming up in Mid City as area businesses are celebrating art during the seventh annual Mid City Art Thaw. These small, locally owned businesses offer a unique, creative and fun atmosphere, with personal service. Patrons can expect to see new art work, talk with local artists, and socialize with others who love art. Participating businesses include Bistro Byronz, Brew Ha Ha, Create Studios, Elizabethan Gallery, Louisiana Office Solutions, Monjuni's Italian Restaurant, The Priceless Collection, Red Stick Spice Company, Reginelli's Pizzeria, Sabai Jewelry Gallery, Soirée, Superior Grill, The Pink Elephant, Time Warp, and Twine. 5 pm–8 pm.
