Since Jeffery Nola's death of Burkitt's Lymphoma in 2011, The Barefoot Pedals Foundation has striven to honor his legacy of faith and courage by raising money for charities in the community. This month, the Varsity Theatre hosts local variety bands Cold Grits and Questionable @ Best for the annual fundraiser NolaPalooza. Doors open at 6 pm for VIP, 7:30 pm for GA, and the show starts at 8 pm. $20 at the door; $10 in advance; $50 VIP include catered food, beer, and wine. Tickets available at varsitytheatre.com.
