November's installment of the Abita Springs Opry, bringing Louisiana roots music of all kinds to the Northshore.

Time for another Abita Springs Opry concert! October's installment (part of the Opry's twenty-eighth season) features performances by the Last Chance Bluegrass Band, playing pure traditional bluegrass, The Raisins, an energetic jug band that can hoot and holler with the best, Kim Carson, singing classics and originals in the old-style country mode, and The Electrifying Crown Seekers, with Gospel music fit to reach straight to heaven. 

Porch acts get underway from 5:15 pm until showtime (7 pm), so arrive early for a good seat in the Abita Springs Town Hall. $18. (985) 892-0711 or abitaopry.com.
