October at the Red Stick Farmers Market

In the market for some fresh, locally-grown produce? Red Stick Farmers Market brings small farmers and food artisans into the heart of the Capital City each Saturday. October means the onset of fall tomatoes, leafy greens, squash, sweet corn, and root vegetables. Artisanal food products and prepared meals are also available, if you can't wait to cook your bounty of fresh veggies. 8 am–noon Saturdays at the corner of Fifth and Main streets.
