Open House at The Gallery

On the first Friday of every month, impressionist painter Ted Bertrand opens up his gallery, Artworks by Ted Bertrand, to the public for refreshments, live music, and sneak peeks of his newest work. Bertrand is known for his scenes of the South, inspired by the beauty of old Acadian style homes, cotton gins, grain bins, and other structures that exemplify his home. The gallery is housed in the historic Bank of Sunset & Trust Company building (855 Napoleon Avenue), originally built in 1906, and also displays the work of Anne Matt. 5:30 pm–8 pm. Free.
