Rock for Spots

Four of Baton Rouge's own favorite bands will rage the Varsity stage on Saturday night to raise awareness for Melanoma, as well as funds for treatment at Mary Bird Perkins-Our Lady of the Lake Cancer Center. 

The lineup includes classic rock'n roll NOLA-rhythm-laced band, the Fret Medics; "the greatest alt-rock-grunge cover band in the history of Baton Rouge (quoted straight from their Facebook Page)," Blue Verse; the V-Tones classic medleys of Baton Rouge doctors, a lawyer, a Mercedes executive, a retiree, and a teacher; and the one and only Jerry C & the Malignancy. Not to mention a notable appearance from the Taco de Paco Food Truck.
